Operations & Production Assistant - Luxury Leather Goods
We are looking for a reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic individual to join our growing team in a unique hands-on role combining luxury leather goods manufacturing with operational support.
This position offers the opportunity to learn both specialist craftsmanship & sales skills while working within a small, professional environment. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and is eager to develop new skills.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
About the Role
This varied role is split between the manufacture of luxury handmade leather goods and supporting day-to-day business operations. From liaising with customers, QC work, stock management and a focus on the e-commerce side of the business. You will also be involved in creating bespoke products made to order, requiring exceptional attention to detail, patience, and a commitment to quality. You will work with specialist machinery and hand tools, including knife work and leathercraft techniques, all of which will be taught through on-the-job training.
Alongside manufacturing duties, you will assist with stock management, cleaning and packing customer orders, shipping, stock management maintaining an organised workspace, and supporting general operational tasks.
No previous leatherworking experience is required—what matters most is your attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Manufacturing luxury handmade leather goods to exact specifications
* Sales management & customer relations
* Operating specialist machinery and equipment safely and effectively
* Learning and applying leathercraft techniques, including knife skills
* General office duties; logistics and photoshop
* Maintaining exceptionally high quality standards and attention to detail
* Packing and preparing customer orders for shipment
* Assisting with stock control and inventory management

* Keeping the workshop clean, organised, and efficient
* Supporting other operational and administrative tasks as required
* Representing the business professionally when interacting with customers
