We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi Trader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of construction and maintenance skills, enabling them to undertake various tasks across multiple trades. This role is essential for ensuring that our projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. The Multi Trader will work on diverse assignments, including residential and commercial properties, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks across various trades, including carpentry, masonry, and roofing.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- Perform bricklaying duties as required, ensuring quality workmanship.
- Assist in welding tasks when necessary, demonstrating proficiency in metalwork.
- Conduct inspections of work areas to identify repair needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project updates and requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, and welding.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to construction and maintenance tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between job sites.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction or related fields are advantageous but not essential.
