The Role
We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our workshop team. In this role, you will bring high-end designs to life, balancing traditional hand craftsmanship with modern machinery to produce furniture pieces to an exceptional standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret detailed technical drawings accurately to extract all necessary construction information.
- Craft luxury furniture pieces from start to finish with absolute precision.
- Operate a variety of traditional hand tools and power tools safely.
- Set up and operate modern woodworking machinery.
- Execute high-quality veneering using both press and vacuum forming methods.
- Manage projects independently while maintaining strict quality control.
- Collaborate closely with the workshop team to meet project deadlines.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Ideally 4+ years of experience in high-end cabinet making or fine woodworking.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading detailed technical drawings, using hand/power tools, and operating modern workshop machinery.
- Specialist Skills: Proven experience in veneering (press and vacuum forming).
- Finishing: Experience in finishing is an asset, but full training will be provided if required.
- Work Ethic: A strong team player who is equally comfortable working under their own steam.
- Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-standard work.
