We are seeking a diligent, experienced and proactive Registered Manager to lead one of our care services. This senior role is central to ensuring consistently high standards of person-centred care, regulatory compliance and effective team leadership across the service.
About the Role: As Registered Manager you will be responsible for the overall running of the service, ensuring care delivery meets organisational standards and regulatory requirements. You will provide visible leadership, develop and support staff, and maintain strong relationships with service users, families and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading day-to-day management duties such as:
Ensuring the service meets CQC standards and other relevant regulatory frameworks
Maintaining accurate records, policies and procedures and ensuring documentation is up to date
Managing and supporting staff through supervision, appraisal and development
Overseeing recruitment, induction and rostering to deliver safe and effective care
Conducting quality audits, spot checks and action-planning to drive improvements
Managing budgets, service metrics and contractual requirements
Responding to incidents, complaints and safeguarding concerns in line with policy
Building positive relationships with service users, families, commissioners and partner agencies
Promoting a culture of person-centred care, dignity and respect at all times
About You:
Proven experience as a Registered Manager or in a senior management role within social care
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, medication management and health & safety
Relevant management qualification or willingness to work towards required registration standards
Excellent leadership, communication and people-management skills
Ability to lead quality improvement and to use data to inform decision-making
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle – desirable where services require travel
Highly reliable, adaptable and committed to promoting continuity of care
