Full job description

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per year, plus uncapped commission.

Location: Finchley, London

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Office-based

Start Date: ASAP

We are an ambitious and rapidly growing company looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Sales Team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a successful career in sales while working in a supportive, fast-paced and innovative environment.

As an internal sales agent, you will be responsible for helping students and tenants arrange their household utility services. You'll build rapport with customers, understand their individual needs, recommend suitable energy and utility packages, and guide them through the sales process. Working closely with senior management and colleagues across the business, you'll play an important role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while contributing to the company's continued growth.

As part of your training, you will initially spend time within our Customer Service team to gain a thorough understanding of our processes, customer journey, and the utility packages and services you'll be selling. This hands-on experience will provide you with the knowledge and confidence needed to succeed in the role.

Key Responsibilities

Contact customers by phone and email to discuss their energy and utility requirements.
Recommend suitable energy tariffs and additional utility services.
Build strong customer relationships and deliver an excellent customer experience.
Meet individual sales targets and KPIs.
Accurately process customer information and maintain CRM records.
Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure a seamless customer journey.
Contribute ideas to improve processes.

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum one year's experience in sales or telesales.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Confident in speaking with customers over the phone.
A driven, target-focused mindset with a desire to succeed.
Ability to multitask, prioritise workload and perform well under pressure.
Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong IT skills.
An interest in business, sales and customer engagement.
A proactive and hardworking attitude.
