Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across a busy clinical premises. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are kept in pristine condition, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience to develop their skills further.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of offices, washrooms, corridors, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
Maintain high standards of hygiene by sanitising surfaces, fixtures, and fittings regularly
Dispose of waste responsibly, ensuring bins are emptied and areas remain tidy
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap dispensers as needed
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or contamination
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and special requests from supervisor

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good organisational skills and reliability
Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties effectively, including lifting and standing for extended periods
