Activities Coordinator with Care
At Rose Care Group, we are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care in a warm and welcoming environment. Our homes are built around dignity, respect and kindness -ensuring every resident feels safe, valued and at home.
We believe great care starts with great people. That’s why we focus on recruiting individuals who genuinely care about making a difference and take pride in supporting others every day.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a varied role that combines activity planning and delivery with hands-on personal care support for residents. On the personal care side, this includes providing companionship, assisting at mealtimes, helping residents to the bathroom and offering general reassurance, particularly for those living with dementia. You'll lead activity provision, planning the month with the manager, providing outings, maintaining activity resources, answering telephone calls and greeting visitors when required.
Many people find this role offers the chance to continue using their valuable care experience in a different way, with a greater emphasis on relationship-building, creativity and resident engagement.
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for someone who is warm, empathetic, and confident in building relationships with residents. You’ll need to be organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently, as you’ll often be the main activities-focused person on shift.
Creativity, enthusiasm, and a positive approach are key, as you’ll be encouraging residents to take part in both one-to-one and group activities within the home and occasionally in the local community.
Due to the nature of the role, previous experience working in a care home setting is beneficial. This role is suited to an experienced carer looking to reduce the physical aspects and increase the social aspects of their duties while using both. Full training will be provided to support development in the role.
