Job Summary
We're looking for Summer Cafe Crew members to join our small team at our Beach takeaway Kiosk based at Mill Bay Beach, East Portlemouth. This is a Summer position, starting in July and ending September 1st 2026.
2 x positions available
Morning prep team 7am-12pm
Prepping sandwiches/ bagels, baking pastries, cooking sausage rolls/ pasties. Opening up the kiosk in the morning and serving coffee (barista training essential), + breakfast items.
- Assist with food presentation and ensure quality control during service
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or kitchen operations is essential
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, including kitchen and dining areas
- Follow food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards at all times. L2 Food Hygiene training desirable.
Minimum 4 x days a week to include Saturday + Sunday (shift pattern to be discussed). £12.80 per hour. Staff uniform provided. Free Coffee/ Food on shift.
Cafe all rounder 10am-6pm
Serving customers, making coffee and speciality drinks (barista training essential), serving breakfast + lunch items (takeaway only), scooping ice cream. Some basic food prep as required during busy periods of service. General cleaning as required.
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems efficiently
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
Minimum 4 x days a week (shift pattern to be discussed but will include weekends). £12.80 per hour. Staff uniform provided. Free Coffee/ Food on shift.
Flexibility to work shifts including weekends, evenings, or holidays as required is essential.
