Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to join our Head Office team in Sale. This role will focus on leading a team of Resident & Property Administrators, ensuring excellent service delivery to tenants, supporting the wider business, and maintaining high standards of performance across the department.
About the Role
You will play a key part in ensuring that all planned and responsive maintenance is delivered efficiently, in line with service level agreements and company standards. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for an individual with a proven track record in property or maintenance management, preferably within the private rented sector or Build to Rent. You’ll be part of a supportive team where collaboration and care are central to how we operate. A strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to go the extra mile are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Asset Management Team to ensure all planned and reactive maintenance is completed in line with KPIs.
- Instruct works using established Schedules of Rates.
- Prepare and oversee internal and external reporting, including analysis of key metrics and providing insightful commentary for clients and senior management.
- Manage daily relationships with contractors and internal teams.
- Act as the key liaison for clients, ensuring expectations are met and exceeded.
- Oversee financial elements of maintenance activities, ensuring cost-efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building safety and statutory regulations.
Skill & Experience
Essential:
- Experience managing responsive and planned maintenance works.
- Previous experience in property or facilities management (Build to Rent experience is advantageous).
- Strong understanding of property management functions and processes.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
- High integrity, reliability, and a professional demeanour.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with property management software.
Desirable:
- Experience working with Schedules of Rates.
- Knowledge of building compliance and safety standards.
