Are you a Qualified RN or Student Nurse with experience of working in an acute care setting? Do you have the hard-working, enthusiastic and conscientious approach it takes to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment? Then consider a move to Ward 37 renal medicine team.

We’re a friendly, experienced team that work hard but genuinely enjoy what we are doing. We go out of our way to spend time with the patients and their families and hope this encourages better care. The role of Staff Nurse is both challenging and interesting. As well as co-coordinating the outpatient activity to ensure the service is well run and waiting times are kept to a minimum, you’ll also get involved in service improvements within the department. A great chance to develop leadership skills that are patient-centered, you’ll also be encouraged to expand and develop your knowledge, skills and competencies within a supported and friendly environment.

Whilst renal experience is not necessary, you must be willing to learn about the specialty. Integrity and vision, plus a real desire to take the service forward and expand the nursing role, are also essential. In return, there will be various training opportunities available on and off site and you’ll also have a personal development plan that’s tailored to your individual needs
