Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Scaffold Labourer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of scaffolding structures on various sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills within the construction industry, working alongside experienced professionals in a safe and supportive environment. All positions are paid, including internships, ensuring fair remuneration for your efforts.

Responsibilities

Assist with the safe erection and dismantling of scaffolding structures in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Carry out general labouring duties such as moving materials, tools, and equipment around site.
Support skilled tradespeople by providing necessary assistance during construction activities.
Ensure work areas are kept clean and organised to maintain a safe working environment.
Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times.
Report any hazards or issues to site supervisors promptly to prevent accidents or delays.

Qualifications

Previous experience or knowledge in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, fabrication or related trades is advantageous but not essential.
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction environments.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a physically demanding role.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn new skills and adhere to safety standards at all times.
Physical fitness suitable for manual labour tasks and working at heights when required. This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking to gain practical experience within the construction sector while contributing to diverse projects across different sites.

Pay: £12.50-£15.00 per hour
