- Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle from enquiry / handover through to completion and closeout
- Plan and coordinate labour, materials, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve programme requirements
- Deliver projects safely, efficiently, and in accordance with ECS SHEQ procedures
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, specifications, and client standards
- Monitor project cost, revenue, margin, and commercial performance
- Identify risks, opportunities, variations, and compensation events where applicable
- Maintain accurate project reporting including programme, cost, progress, and KPI updates
- Lead client meetings, progress reviews, and operational communications
- Ensure RAMS, permits, site documentation, and project files are maintained appropriately
- Support technical problem solving and escalation management during project delivery
- Drive quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfactions
Skills & Qualifications
- Recognised electrical qualification essential (e.g. NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation, Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or Degree in Electrical Engineering)
- 3–5 years’ relevant experience in electrical project delivery, site management, or contract delivery
- Strong technical understanding of electrical installations, safe systems of work, and project delivery practices
- Experience managing project budgets, programmes, labour, and subcontractors
- Commercial awareness including variations, change control, and cost management
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead teams and coordinate multidisciplinary resources
- Competent with Microsoft Office and project reporting tools
- HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (Desirable)
- Experience working on water utility or industrial infrastructure assets (Desirable)
- Knowledge of PPM maintenance and remedial delivery models (Desirable)
- Experience delivering capital / CAPEX projects (Desirable)
- NEC3 / NEC4 contract awareness (Desirable)
- LV or HV system knowledge / authorisation (Desirable)
- MEICA project experience (Desirable)
- 18th Edition, inspection & testing, or relevant technical certifications (Desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
