Full job description

Leeds Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative — one of the largest credit unions in the UK — dedicated to providing affordable savings and loans to the people of Leeds. We're not driven by shareholder returns. We're driven by our members and our community.

This is a new role for us; as we grow we're looking for the right support for our Executive Team, alongside a safe pair of hands for the coordination of the facilities at Head Office and our branch network . We're looking for someone between 22 and 29 hours per week which can be worked over 3, 4 or 5 days to suit.

What you'll do:

Support the Executive Team, giving priority to the CEO, with diary and email management.
Own the Executive Team meeting calendars, ensuring attendance as needed.
Take minutes of key business meetings and collate key actions, sharing post-meeting.
Support in the gathering and presentation of information for meetings and external reporting.
Arrange travel, itineraries and expenses for the CEO and wider Executive Team as needed.
Act as a trusted gatekeeper for the CEO's office, managing internal and external stakeholder relationships with discretion and professionalism.
Handle confidential and commercially sensitive information appropriately at all times.
General administrative support to the wider business as required.
Manage the day-to-day running of Head Office, including but not limited to hygiene and welfare facilities, landlord liaison, health & safety, and fire safety.
Oversee health & safety records, risk assessments and compliance checks across Head Office and branches, working with local teams to embed standards.
Management of office meeting room calendars and oversight of onsite parking facilities.
Ensure the office is fully stocked with supplies and sundries such as refreshments and stationery.
Manage supplier and contractor relationships (cleaning, security, maintenance, etc.).
Contribute to business continuity planning across sites.
Support in event organisation.

What we're looking for:

No formal further education qualification is required but previous experience in an office management / EA role is essential and experience in supporting business health and safety and GDPR policies is advantageous; plus:

Positive, proactive mindset taking initiative to deliver effective support to stakeholders
Key eye for detail to ensure we get it right first time
Strong organisation skills with an ability to prioritise to meet tight deadlines
Excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
Comfortable with building and maintaining proactive relationships with every level of the organisation, along with external stakeholders.
Problem solving ability that drives business operations and strategy
Able to adapt to the ever-changing requirement of a fast-paced business
