Full Time | £28,500 - £30,000 DOE
We are currently recruiting for a highly organised Workshop Parts Advisor, providing fast-paced technician support within a premium dealership environment. Proven track record in streamlining parts delivery to reduce workshop 'dead time' and ensuring 100% accuracy in job card allocation for complex JLR repairs. Expert in managing high-volume genuine parts inventory, executing 'pre-picking' for next-day efficiency, and maintaining the strict warranty and compliance standards expected by the JLR brand.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Fast-Paced Technician Support: Providing immediate parts identification and counter service to ensure technicians remain in their bays and repair jobs maintain momentum.
- Next-Day Pre-Picking: Proactively reviewing the workshop diary to pick and stage all parts for the following day’s scheduled service and repair work, eliminating morning delays.
- EVHC Coordination: Rapidly sourcing and quoting parts for urgent repairs identified during Electronic Vehicle Health Checks (EVHC) to facilitate quick customer approval and workshop throughput.
- JLR Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels of genuine JLR components and workshop consumables (oils, fluids, and specialised fixings) to ensure 100% availability for standard maintenance.
- Warranty & Core Returns: Processing displaced components and high-value "core" units according to strict JLR compliance and warranty guidelines.
- Backorder Tracking: Proactively managing backordered items and providing real-time ETAs to the Service Department to manage workshop scheduling and customer expectations.
- Specialist Tooling Control: Overseeing the inventory and internal loan process of JLR-specific specialist workshop tools.
