We are expanding and are delighted to be opening a brand-new HGV parts branch in the Saltash area. As a leading supplier of commercial vehicle parts to fleets, workshops, and transport operators, we are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Branch Manager to establish, lead, and grow this exciting new operation.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced motor factor or commercial vehicle parts professional to play a key role in launching a new branch, building a customer base, developing a high-performing team, and creating a successful business from the ground up.
The Role
As Branch Manager, you will have full responsibility for the performance and growth of the new branch. Working closely with senior management, you will help establish the branch as the go-to supplier of HGV and commercial vehicle parts throughout Cornwall and the surrounding areas.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the launch and development of the new branch.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with local transport operators, workshops, and fleet customers.
- Driving sales growth and achieving branch targets.
- Recruiting, developing, and motivating branch staff.
- Managing stock levels, purchasing, and branch operations.
- Ensuring excellent customer service standards are maintained at all times.
- Identifying new business opportunities within the region.
- Managing branch profitability and performance.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous management experience within a motor factor, HGV parts distributor, commercial vehicle parts supplier, or automotive aftermarket business.
- Strong knowledge of HGV and commercial vehicle parts.
- A proven track record of sales growth and customer development.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of a new business opportunity.
- Strong commercial awareness and organisational skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
