Senior MSK Physiotherapist (Band 6/7 Equivalent)
Location: Cornwall (across two clinic locations)
Hours: Part-time or Full-time considered
Salary: Competitive, £38-50,000 dependent on experience

We are a well-established and growing private physiotherapy practice providing high-quality musculoskeletal physiotherapy, rehabilitation and Pilates services. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent patient care within a friendly, supportive and collaborative team environment.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior MSK Physiotherapist to join our team. The successful candidate will work across our two clinic locations, managing their own caseload while contributing positively to the wider clinic team.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident clinician who enjoys working autonomously while being part of a supportive team environment.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing a varied musculoskeletal caseload independently.
- Assessing, diagnosing and treating patients using evidence-based practice.
- Delivering individualised rehabilitation programmes.
- Running Pilates classes as part of our rehabilitation services.
- Managing your own diary and workload efficiently.
- Producing clear and accurate clinical records and reports.
- Building strong relationships with patients, referrers and colleagues.
- Contributing to the ongoing development of clinical services.
- Supporting junior staff or colleagues where appropriate.
- Working across both clinic locations as required.
- Contributing positively to a collaborative and supportive team culture.
- Delivering an exceptional patient experience that promotes engagement, adherence to treatment and positive clinical outcomes.
- Understanding the importance of patient retention, effective treatment planning and building long-term professional relationships with patients and referrers.
- Contributing ideas to support the continued growth and success of the practice.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a Chartered Physiotherapist and registered with the HCPC.
- Has significant post-graduate MSK experience.
- Demonstrates excellent clinical reasoning and patient-centred care.
- Is confident managing a busy and varied caseload independently.
- Has experience delivering Pilates classes or is willing to undertake further training.
- Is organised, reliable and able to manage their own diary effectively.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enjoys working as part of a team and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
- Is proactive, adaptable and motivated to develop professionally.
- Understands the differences between NHS and private practice and is comfortable taking ownership of patient journeys from initial assessment through to discharge.
- Appreciates the importance of providing outstanding service, building patient trust and supporting sustainable clinic growth through excellent clinical care.
Desirable Skills
- Pilates qualification (APPI, DMA Clinical Pilates or equivalent).
- Acupuncture qualification (preferably AACP)
- Experience within private practice.
- Experience mentoring students or junior clinicians.
- Interest in service development, rehabilitation or specialist MSK areas.
- Experience contributing to service development, quality improvement or business growth initiatives.
