Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a dynamic kitchen environment, develop innovative menus, and deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The Head Chef will play a pivotal role in maintaining the reputation of our establishment through leadership, creativity, and dedication to excellence.

Duties

Lead and supervise the kitchen team, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of food quality.
Oversee food production processes, including preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes.
Develop new menus in collaboration with management, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen.
Manage inventory levels & order supplies.
Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and ensure consistent performance.
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain a positive working environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment.
Extensive food production and culinary expertise with a strong foundation in food preparation and cooking techniques.
Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff.
In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
Experience working in hospitality or restaurant settings with a focus on high-quality service delivery.
Strong leadership qualities combined with excellent organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
