Full job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Area Leader to join our team. This role plays a key part in driving team performance, maintaining operational standards, and supporting continuous improvement across the production process.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their leadership capability and take the next step in their career within Kingspan.

Main responsibilities

Support Team and Shift Leaders in the day-to-day running of the production line
Coordinate team activities to ensure efficient and safe operations
Manage raw materials from input through to finished product
Drive improvements in production performance, scrap reduction, KPIs, and OEE
Maintain high standards of communication across shifts and teams
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and quality procedures
Provide cover for the Team Leader when required
Promote a proactive, flexible, and continuous improvement culture

Key skills & experience

Strong understanding of KPIs, KAIs, and their impact on production performance
Proven ability to motivate and engage teams to improve performance and morale
Solid knowledge of Health & Safety standards and compliance procedures
Experience maintaining quality control (QC) throughout production processes
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) – desirable
Leadership or team leader qualification (ILM or equivalent) – desirable
