Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organised Part-time Shop Assistant to join our team in our village shop post office and cafe,This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in customer service, and retail operations. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth running of daily shop and post office activities while providing great service to our customers.

Duties

Greeting customers warmly and assisting with their enquiries in a professional manner
Operating the till system, processing transactions accurately and efficiently
Restocking shelves and maintaining the organisation of the shop floor
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the shop environment
Someone who enjoys cooking/baking.
Serving hot food and drinks to customers

Requirements

Days required,tuesdays,Wednesdays Thursdays
experience in customer service or retail is desirable but not essential; a friendly attitude and willingness to learn are more important
post office experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided where necessary
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good Flexibility to work during shop opening hours, including 1 out of 4 saturdays is required
Good communication skills,this role offers a valuable opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive environment. We welcome applications from motivated individuals eager to contribute positively to our team.

Pay: £12.77 per hour
