JOB SUMMERY
The Client Services Manager (CSM) provides a critical commercial–operational interface within Transpharmation. The role acts as the primary liaison between Business Development, Science, and Operations, ensuring client opportunities are translated into accurate, timely, and commercially robust proposals. Additionally, the CSM ensures a seamless handoff of awarded studies into Operations by delivering client specific and execution requirements and supports, as needed, the client journey through their study lifecycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Act as the primary liaison between Business Development, scientific leadership, and operations teams.
- Coordinate internal scientific, operational, and financial inputs to support client enquiries and RFPs.
- Collate study costings and pricing inputs to build accurate budgets and quotations.
- Draft, issue, and maintain client quotations in line with approved pricing frameworks.
- Support opportunity tracking from enquiry through award and operational handover.
- Maintain and update management information tools including CRM systems and pipeline trackers.
- Produce regular pipeline, quote, and workload reports for senior management.
- Support change control, re-quoting, and scope clarification activities as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of commercial and client-facing processes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Essential:
- Experience in client services, commercial operations, or project coordination within life sciences, biotech, pharma, or CRO environments.
- Strong ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience preparing or coordinating pricing, quotations, or proposals.
- High numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational, project management, and communication skills.
- Confidence working with spreadsheets, dashboards, and management information systems.
Desirable:
- Experience in a preclinical or clinical CRO environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales pipeline management.
- Understanding of preclinical study design, costing drivers, or operational workflows.
- Experience working in an international, multi-site organisation.
REGIONAL CONSIDERATIONS:
Experience working with biotech and pharma clients and familiarity with GBP/EUR / USD pricing is desirable.
