Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Care Worker to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality support to clients assisting with their daily activities, and contributing to their overall wellbeing. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in care work and possess excellent communication skills. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive difference in lives while working within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Offer personalised care and support to vulnerable and elderly clients , ensuring their individual needs are met in accordance with care plans
Assist with daily routines such as dressing, feeding, and personal hygiene
Maintain accurate records of care provided and any significant observations or concerns
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to deliver consistent care and support
Drive clients safely to appointments or activities when required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
Communicate effectively with families, and team members to promote a positive environment
Use IT systems to update records, track progress, and plan future support

Requirements

Experience working with vulnerable and elderly clients is highly desirable
Valid driving licence and the ability to drive safely is preferred
Ability to develop and follow detailed care plans tailored to each clients needs
Excellent communication skills in Welsh and English , both verbal and written
Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes
Compassionate attitude with a strong commitment to safeguarding and welfare
Flexibility to work shifts as required, including occasional evenings or weekends if necessary

Pay: £27,300.00 per year
