Adoption Mid & West Wales (AMWW) is a Regional Collaborative Adoption Service for Carmarthenshire (Host), Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Powys. We are part of the National Adoption Service and adhere to the All Wales Adoption Policy & Procedures and Best Practice Guides.
The post holder will be based in Carmarthen and will be Regionally working. AMWW are a progressive Adoption Service with a remit of family finding for children with adoption plans, recruiting and assessing prospective adopters, family finding for approved adopters, post adoption support, birth parent support, post adoption contact and birth records and intermediary work. We provide pre and post approval training to adopters. We are committed to developing skills and knowledge in the team and have access to bespoke training on adoption practice and trauma informed practice.
