We're looking for reliable, hands-on General Operatives who are ready to get stuck in, support the team and help us deliver fresh food to cats across the UK.
About the Role
As a General Operative, you'll support our Production, Fulfilment or wider Operations teams depending on business needs.
This is a varied, active role where no two days are exactly the same. You could be helping prepare fresh food, packing customer orders, supporting dispatch or keeping work areas running smoothly.
Full training and PPE will be provided.
What You'll Be DoingProduction Tasks
- Preparing, packing and handling fresh pet food
- Working on production lines to meet quality and safety standards
- Handling raw and cooked meat products
- Working in chilled environments to help keep our food fresh and safe
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
Fulfilment Tasks
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately
- Labelling, checking and preparing boxes for dispatch
- Moving stock and supporting warehouse organisation
- Making sure customer orders leave on time and in perfect condition
- Supporting the team to meet daily order targets
Across All Areas
- Keeping work areas clean, organised and food-safe
- Following clear processes and safety procedures
- Working as part of a team to keep everything running smoothly
- Supporting different departments when needed
Working Environment
You'll be working within our fresh food production and fulfilment facility, helping us prepare and send high-quality fresh meals to cats across the country.
This is a hands-on role involving regular movement, standing for periods of time and manual handling as part of day-to-day tasks. Some areas are chilled to maintain the quality and safety of our fresh food products.
In Production, you may also be handling raw and cooked meat ingredients. Full training, PPE and support will be provided to help you succeed in the role.
Shifts & Working Hours
- Minimum 37.5 hours per week
- Expected hours: 37.5 – 45 hours per week
- Shifts operate between 06:00 and 18:00
- Shift patterns may vary depending on production demand and customer order volumes
- Flexibility is important as we continue to grow

- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, fulfilment or food production experience is beneficial
