Job Overview

Working days will be Thursday & Fridays 2pm start, with additional days and hours when needed to cover holidays and bank holidays, etc.

Must have own transport as buses to Farnsfield do not serve finishing times

In this energetic role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality bread products from scratch, ensuring each item meets our standards of excellence. Your expertise in food safety, kitchen operations, and baking techniques will contribute to creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers and supporting the overall success of our bakery or restaurant. Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of bread and baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards
Measure ingredients accurately and follow precise baking procedures to ensure consistency
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace, adhering to food safety regulations
Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to achieve optimal results
Assist with food preparation tasks such as dough mixing, shaping, and decorating baked items
Ensure all baked products are fresh, appealing, and ready for service or sale
Follow all health and safety guidelines to uphold a safe working environment

Requirements

Proven experience in food production, baking, or kitchen operations within a restaurant or bakery setting
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with culinary techniques related to baking, cooking, and food preparation
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to follow recipes precisely
Prior experience in restaurant or food service environments is highly desirable
Willingness to learn new baking methods and adapt to evolving kitchen needs
