Are you an experienced motor trade professional looking for a varied and fast-paced role where no two days are the same?

At Eddie Wright Car Supermarket, we’re looking for a motivated and adaptable Service Advisor/ Parts Controller to join our busy and growing aftersales team.

This exciting dual-role position is ideal for someone who can confidently switch between parts operations and customer service responsibilities, supporting both the workshop and front-of-house service department.

The Role

As a Parts Controller / Service Advisor, you’ll play a key role in keeping our workshop running efficiently while also delivering excellent customer service. You must be organised, proactive, and able to adapt quickly in a busy motor trade environment.

Your responsibilities will include managing parts supply and stock control, while also assisting customers with bookings, updates, and service enquiries.

Key Responsibilities

Ordering and sourcing vehicle parts from approved suppliers
Managing and maintaining accurate stock levels
Supplying parts efficiently to workshop technicians
Handling invoices, returns, and warranty parts
Booking vehicles into the workshop
Liaising with customers regarding repairs, servicing, and progress updates
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the service department
Delivering professional and friendly customer service at all times

What We’re Looking For

Essential: Previous motor trade parts experience
Service advisor experience would be highly advantageous
Ability to adapt between parts and service responsibilities
Strong organisational and communication skills
Excellent customer service and administration abilities
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A positive, team-oriented attitude with strong attention to detail
