We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef/Tandoori Chef to join our team at Ni Hao Delhi Indo-Chinese. The ideal candidate will be passionate about culinary arts, possess excellent leadership skills, and have a strong background in food production and kitchen management.
Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations
- Plan and create innovative menus
- Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and helpers
- Ensure food quality meets high standards
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Implement and maintain food safety standards
- Train and develop kitchen staff on culinary techniques
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Curry Chef/Tandoori Chef or in a similar role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of culinary arts and various cooking methods
- Excellent understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field is a plus
- Hospitality industry experience is preferred
