Full job description

We are currently looking for a cook to join our team working on a 2 on, 2 off, 3 on rota. This means you get every other weekend off. The hours are 8a.m. till 1 p.m.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Food Preparation:

To prepare ingredients
Follow recipes to cook food according to specified standards
Work together to plan meals and menu development

Quality control:

Ensure food is cooked to quality standards and presented attractively
Check for freshness and quality of ingredients
Prepare dishes according to special dietary needs

Hygiene and sanitation

Manitain a clean and organised work area
Follow all sanitation procedures and food safety regulations
Properly handle and store food

Inventory and ordering

To put together food orders and check food stock

All food served is cooked fresh including cakes and puddings so experience as a cook is essential.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.99 per hour
