Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess a personal license, valid and updated. This is a live in positions.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of bar staff, including bartenders, servers
Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of beverages and ingredients.
Develop innovative drink menus and promote special offers to attract customers.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
Monitor customer service levels, handle complaints professionally, and ensure guest satisfaction.
Organise staff schedules, oversee training programmes, and foster a team-oriented environment.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with hygiene regulations.
Collaborate with other departments such as kitchen and front-of-house to optimise operations.

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience within a hospitality or restaurant environment.
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
Experience in hospitality settings such as hotels or bars; culinary experience is advantageous.
Previous experience serving in a high-volume setting
Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with health regulations related to food safety and alcohol licensing laws.
Must have an up to date personal license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
