Guest Relations Co-Ordinator
As our business grows, we have a vacancy for a Guest Relations Co-Ordinator. This is an exciting time to work for Murrayshall as you will be taken on a journey. Murrayshall is undertaking a period of growth capitalising on the glorious estate surrounding the hotel, with the latest release being 22 Armadilla pod-style cabins, marking a new era of luxury and comfort for the Estate, along with planning permission for lodges and a new leisure centre. This past year Spa Treatment rooms have been added along with Pursuits area for Quad bike, archery and Axe throwing
Murrayshall is set in 365 acres of stunning Perthshire countryside and dates back over 400 years. It is situated just 3 miles from the cultural city of Perth, offering guests a tranquil haven in which to unwind and relax, with 40 elegant and spacious rooms and suites, 27-holes of stunning parkland golf and delicious local cuisine in our Eolas Restaurant.
Objectives:
- To provide outstanding service and a warm welcome to all guests
- To personalise each guest stay and plan the guest journey
- To contribute to creating a repeat guest business
- To increase the hotel revenue through assisting with add on dining, golf, and activities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Be the welcoming face in the front lobby and know and address guests by their name
- To look after all VIP stays and room amenities
- To take reservations and manage guest’s itineraries from the very start of their journey at booking stage, on site and after stay.
- To upsell the resort facilities to all guests
- To assist in taking rooms and restaurants reservations
- To be a trusted contact for all guests and to always go above and beyond
- To be knowledgeable about the local area
- To organise and ensure smooth check in and departure for all guests
- To be involved in resort wide meetings/ projects for the future
- To bring new and creative ideas and opportunities to the resort
- To assist in hotel show rounds
- To take pride in your appearance and place a brand ambassador
- To be able to problem solve and turn any negatives to positives
- To co-ordinate all guest feedback
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
- Natural creative and innovative flair with a genuine love of hospitality an eye for detail
- Broad ingredient knowledge, as well as knowledge of local food trends and local history
- Must have outstanding communication and presentation skills, including the ability to listen
- Ability to multi-task
- Professional, motivated, driven, flexible and enthusiastic
- Works consistently to high standards
- Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure
- Ability to innovate solutions and prioritise workload
- Strives to continuously learn & develop self and team

Qualifications and Requirements
Experience in a similar type role preferred

Salary £26,574 per annum
