Paint Technician
Overview:
Blast Clean & Coatings Ltd is seeking an experienced Paint Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and application of industrial protective coatings to a variety of components and structures, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet customer and industry specifications.
Whilst painting will be the primary function of this role, candidates must also have experience in abrasive blasting and be willing to undertake blasting duties as required to support operational demands.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of industrial coatings, surface preparation standards, and quality requirements. A TTP or ICATS qualification would be advantageous, although training opportunities are available for the right candidate.

Requirements:
- Experience as a Paint Technician – knowledge of coating materials, application techniques, and equipment
- Experience with abrasive blasting and surface preparation techniques
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Ability to work in a workshop environment, including standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required
- Train the Painter or ICATS qualified (preferrable)
Work Hours:
40-hrs per week (08:00 to 16:30, Mon-Fri)
