Nor-Sea Foods is part of a fast-growing group of companies, including International Fish Canners and Nolan Seafoods based in Fraserburgh and Aberdeen. It produces a variety of quality fish products largely under private label for a worldwide customer base. We trade principally in the Pelagic species - Mackerel, Herring and Sprats and Whitefish – Haddock and Whiting and Salmon.
An opportunity is available for an individual to train as part of the smoking team in Nor-Sea Fraserburgh, working on the backshift rota (Monday to Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm). Please note, this is a full-time position.
The requirements for the job are as follows:
§ Knowledge and experience of the smoking process or willing to learn.
§ Willingness to learn how to use the equipment in this area.
§ Ability to maintain accurate written records, with diligence and accuracy, this involves records of CCP’s.
§ Motivated and reliable with good attendance record.
§ Ability to communicate at all levels.
§ Good team worker.
