As a Migration Workstream Lead/ Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and helping to drive a team of IM&W specialists in delivering our most challenging projects. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring project success and driving business growth.
As a Senior Manager, you will have responsibility to:

Partner with internal teams and clients to deliver expert guidance on Wealth technology, shaping technology strategy, implementation roadmaps, and migration plans.

Lead technology-enabled transformation programmes with overall responsibility for the migration workstream.

Support clients throughout the whole project lifecycle activities across discovery, migration strategy definition, data analysis, solution design and build, end-to-end testing, integrations and change and go-live.

Advise clients with respect to data assessment processes and procedures.
-
Advise clients and face off to the vendor with respect to the reconciliations approach surrounding the ETL design.

Management and coordination of data loads in conjunction with the vendor and downstream systems
-
Oversee any manual extract/transformation of data from source systems and support the client in establishing the appropriate controls.

Define best practice with relation to data cleansing and operationalize the cleansing process where required.

Engage with the migration or UAT test team as part of test strategy definition and delivery.

Develop a consolidated cutover runbook detailing the ETL execution and supporting processes.
Connect to your skills and professional experience
- Strong consulting experience, preferably in the wealth management or pensions domains. Experience in successfully managing vendor relationships and delivering results in a multivendor environment.

Experience in coordinating delivery programmes and projects, specifically with complex migration phases.

Strong understanding of vendor management best practices (e.g. FNZ, SS&C or Seccl) and the ability to navigate complex vendor landscapes.

Been a key part of wealth platform transformation and migration projects and demonstrated ability to support in a team of technology and business advisors through all phases of the technology life cycle, including requirements definition, architecture, design, development, implementation, migration, and testing.

Experience of leading a migration end-to-end including the definition of a client migration strategy

Experiencing in designing or advising on ETL Reconciliation approaches

Supported delivery teams to successful project outcomes by managing and monitoring progress, mitigating risks, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and adapting to changing circumstances.

Advise clients and stakeholders by communicating complex information clearly, building relationships, and providing industry thought leadership.

Been part of projects which involved analysing financial data, identifying opportunities, negotiating effectively, managing budgets and resources, and making data-driven decisions to achieve business objectives
-
Ensured delivery standards are followed and deviations from any defined standards are properly addressed and communicated.

Led and ensured that solution options are well communicated and approved by Business & technical stakeholders.

Experience in delivering through various ways of working, including waterfall and agile methodologies.

Familiarity with modern software delivery tooling e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Azure

Experience in leading and mentoring junior staff within a wider complex digital transformation programme.
