Are you calm, reliable, and great with people? Blackstar Security is expanding its sports event team in Glasgow, and we are looking for dedicated Event Safety Stewards to join our vibrant workforce.

You will receive a competitive salary of between £12.71 per hour.

We are looking for faces that are new but familiar with the hustle and bustle of events. Whether you have worked in a customer-facing environment or have experience at festivals and sporting events, we want to hear from you.

All applicants must be able to provide full 5-year work history or education where applicable with contact information for referees including full names, addresses and contact information such as email address and contact number

To register with us you will need:

1 - Passport

2 - Two proof of address dated within the last 2 month (any recent bill on your name, bank statement, recent wage slip)

3 - Proof of national insurance (P60, P45, NI card/letter or any letter scanned on which your NI is visible

4 - 5-year work/education history needs to be uploaded on the profile

5 - Profile picture (a headshot picture of yourself ideally with light background)

6 - ACT Awareness & ACT Security certificates

7 - Prove your right to work share code (if you require one)

Key responsibilities as our Event Safety Steward:

Checking tickets
Directing the public to their seats
Answering any questions and assisting the public with any information on the event

Our ideal Event Safety Steward will have:

Clear communication skills
Confident in dealing with members of the public
Commitment into working long hours outdoors
