Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sign Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing various types of signage at multiple locations, ensuring safety, precision, and quality. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in construction, signage, or visual communication to develop their skills within a professional environment. The position is paid and suitable for those who are organised, reliable, and eager to contribute to the visual branding of our clients. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced installer, gaining valuable on-the-job training and industry experience.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and installation instructions to ensure accurate placement.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation processes.
Ensure all signage is securely mounted and aligned according to specifications.
Conduct site surveys prior to installation to assess access points, safety hazards, and logistical requirements.
Maintain a clean and organised work area during and after installations.
Follow health and safety regulations diligently to prevent accidents or injuries on site.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress or any issues encountered.
Must be flexible and willing to work different shift patterns.

Skills

No signage installation experience required.
Proficient in the use of hand tools, drills, lifts, and other relevant equipment.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure precise installation work.
Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy signage materials safely and work at heights if necessary.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with team members and clients effectively.
A valid driver’s licence is preferred for travel between sites.
Awareness of health and safety standards relevant to construction or installation work is essential.
