Job Title: Catering Operations and Business Development Manager

Overview

INTERESTEA LTD is a food and beverage retail business based in Glasgow, specialising in bubble tea, drinks and selected food products. We are looking for a motivated and commercially focused Catering Operations and Business Development Manager to support our daily operations, improve business performance and help develop new growth opportunities.

This role is suitable for someone with experience in food and beverage operations, catering management, hospitality management, business development or retail operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing store operations, improving service standards, managing suppliers and stock control, analysing sales performance, supporting marketing campaigns and developing strategies to expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily food and beverage operations to ensure smooth service, product quality and customer satisfaction.
Oversee stock control, purchasing, supplier communication and cost management.
Monitor sales performance, product margins, wastage and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Support the development of new menu items, seasonal products and promotional campaigns.
Manage staff rota, training, service standards and daily operational procedures.
Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health and safety, and internal operating standards.
Analyse POS sales data, delivery platform performance and customer trends to support business decisions.
Develop and implement business development strategies to attract new customers and increase repeat business.
Support local marketing activities, including social media campaigns, student market promotions and community engagement.
Build relationships with local partners, student communities and potential business clients.
Prepare reports on sales, operations, stock usage and marketing performance for management review.
Support future business expansion plans, including new sales channels, partnerships and potential new locations.

Requirements

Previous experience in food and beverage operations, catering management, hospitality management or business development.
Strong understanding of daily catering, café, takeaway or food retail operations.
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in stock control, supplier coordination, staff scheduling or cost control.
Ability to analyse sales data and use it to improve business performance.
Strong communication, problem-solving and leadership skills.
Knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety standards is preferred.
Experience with delivery platforms, POS systems, social media marketing or local business development is desirable.
Mandarin-speaking ability is desirable due to the company’s customer base, but not essential.
