If you're looking to get your SIA Door Supervisor licence and go into the security industry, our intensive Security Routeway training course gives you the skills, knowledge, and confidence to step straight into work.
After just three weeks doing our course, you’ll gain nationally recognised qualifications needed to get your SIA licence and be ready to work.
What You’ll Learn:
- Award for Door Supervisors (Level 2) – the essential qualification for your SIA licence.
- Emergency First Aid at Work (Level 3)
- Customer Service for Security (Level 1)
- Practical workplace skills – teamwork, communication, reliability, and problem-solving.
- Independent learning modules – complete short courses in de-escalation, lone working, professional conduct and wellbeing.
Who It’s For:
Adults aged 19+ looking to start or return to work in security — no prior experience needed. Perfect for those ready to get to work quickly with industry-recognised certification and genuine employer connections.
Eligibility:
- Must have turned 19 before the 31st August 2025
- Must live in Scunthorpe
- Must be in receipt of UC, JSA or ESA or earning under £25,750 (gross salary)
Responsibilities
- Attend all scheduled online and classroom training sessions and actively participate
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Engage in assessments and feedback sessions to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
