Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Receptionist / Social Media Specialist to be the welcoming face of our organization while also managing our online presence. This role offers a unique blend of front-desk responsibilities and digital engagement, making it perfect for someone who thrives in a lively environment and has a passion for social media. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a positive experience while also creating engaging content to boost our brand visibility across various social media platforms. This paid position provides an exciting opportunity to develop your communication skills and digital marketing expertise in a vibrant setting.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and clients warmly, providing excellent customer service and directing them appropriately
Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area that reflects our brand’s energy and professionalism
Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Tiktok
Monitor social media accounts for comments, messages, and engagement opportunities; respond promptly to foster community interaction
Assist with public relations efforts by promoting events, initiatives, or news through digital platforms
Support internal communication by coordinating with team members to share updates and highlight achievements

Skills

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect confidently with visitors and online audiences
Proven experience in social media management, including content creation and platform analytics
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to craft compelling messages that align with brand voice
Knowledge of public relations principles to effectively promote the organization’s image externally
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Proficiency in using social media management tools and basic graphic design software is a plus

Please note this is set working days and hours

3 days in the week of your choice 15:00- 19:00

Saturday and Sunday 16:00- 19:00

Pay: £12.71 per hour
