Pharmacy Dispenser

Job Summary

Are you an experienced Pharmacy Dispenser looking to develop your skills? Taffs Pharmacy is seeking a motivated and experienced Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. As a leading pharmacy for innovation and new services we are expanding our workforce to meet the ever-increasing demand from our patients.

Requirements:

MUST hold an accredited dispenser qualification from a recognised course.
Significant experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser.
Demonstrate willingness to pursue continuous professional development. This will include the opportunity to enrol on a Pharmacy Technician course. The successful candidate must commit to starting the Pharmacy Technician course when the opportunity arises.
Ability to work independently and take initiative to completing tasks.
Ability to work under pressure and ensure efficient dispensing operations.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently and accurately dispense prescription medications and over-the-counter products.
Provide exceptional customer service, offering professional advice and guidance to patients.
Maintain a high level of accuracy in record-keeping and prescription documentation.
Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth workflow and operational efficiency.
Contribute to the maintenance of stock levels and inventory control.
Comply with all legal and professional requirements, including patient confidentiality and data protection.
