About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee CNC Laser Cutting & CNC Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in precision engineering and metal fabrication. Full training will be provided, allowing you to develop skills in operating CNC laser cutting machinery and CNC press brake equipment while working alongside experienced operators.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn to safely operate CNC laser cutting and CNC press brake machinery.
- Assist in setting up machines and preparing materials for production.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Measure and inspect finished components to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping duties.
- Load and unload materials and finished products.
- Monitor machine performance and report any faults or issues.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Work as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, engineering, or fabrication environments.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings.
- Experience using hand tools or measuring equipment.
- Interest in CNC machinery and metalworking processes.
