Job Summary
We are seeking superintendent qualified pharmacists to join our healthcare team. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing expert medication management, patient care,pharamcy first,NMS and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals. Duties
- check prescribed medications accurately in accordance with medical orders and legal requirements
- Provide comprehensive patient care by offering medication advice and counselling
- Monitor patient responses to medication regimens and adjust treatments as necessary in collaboration with healthcare teams
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of prescriptions, patient interactions, and medication histories
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including proper storage and disposal of pharmaceuticals
- Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmacology, including new medications and treatment protocols
- Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions to promote safe practices

Experience
- Proven experience working as a pharmacist within a clinical or hospital setting
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to medication administration and patient care
- Demonstrated expertise in medication administration procedures and protocols
- Experience in providing direct patient care, including medication counselling and management
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and record keeping practices
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Pharmacy recognised by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or equivalent regulatory body
Candidates should possess excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Prior experience in high-pressure environments such as intensive care units is highly desirable.
Pay: £23.09-£25.00 per hour
