This unique role combines responsibility for preparing nutritious school meals, maintaining a clean school environment and carrying out essential caretaker duties. The Roles
Cook 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday term time only. £13.47 - £14.13 per hour
We are proud to provide healthy, nutritious meals that support children's wellbeing and learning. As Cook, you will be responsible for delivering an effective catering service while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Duties will include:
- Preparing and cooking meals for approximately 50 pupils each day
- Serving meals to pupils and staff
- Ordering food and managing stock levels
- Completing kitchen administration and record-keeping
- Supervising kitchen operations
- Setting out and putting away dining furniture
- Washing up and cleaning kitchen and dining areas
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and health and safety requirements
Cleaner- 10 hours per week- £13.28 per hour
As part of our facilities team, you will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment throughout the school.
Duties will include:
- Cleaning classrooms, offices and communal areas
- Dusting, vacuuming and mopping
- Cleaning sanitary facilities
- Emptying bins and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Following cleaning schedules and procedures
Working Hours: Between 3:30pm and 6:00pm, with some flexibility on start and finish times.
In addition to the Cook and Cleaner responsibilities, you can undertake basic site security duties to ensure the school remains safe and secure, this is for 1 hour per week for an additional £13.28- £13.47 per hour

- Flexible and willing to undertake a combination of duties
Previous experience in catering, cleaning or caretaking would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
