We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Nurse to join our team at Lincoln House Care Home, Swanton Morley. This is a key leadership role where you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care while leading and supporting the nursing and care teams.
As a Senior Nurse, you will take charge of shifts, oversee clinical standards, and act as a role model for best practice within the service.

Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the nursing team on shift
· Deliver and oversee outstanding clinical care to residents
· Ensure effective assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care
· Administer and manage medications safely and in line with guidelines
· Support, supervise and mentor junior nurses and care staff
· Ensure compliance with all clinical, legal and regulatory requirements
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records
· Liaise with GPs, healthcare professionals, residents and families
· Participate in audits and contribute to continuous improvement
· Promote independence, dignity and choice for all residents
Working days/hours:
This is a full time position for days of 36.75 hours per week in week, working alternate weekends. More hours available for sickness and leave cover ad hoc.
Skills Required/Qualifications:
· Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current unrestricted NMC registration.
· Professional, understanding and patient.
· Wound care, Bowel care, Male/ female catheterisation, Palliative care and PEG/ RIG experience, phlebotomy but not essential as training will be provided.
· Good interpersonal skills.
· Care planning development and management.
· Reliable.
· Team player, willing to train and develop colleagues, whilst utilising their skillset for the benefit of our residents.
