Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting and decorating techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client specifications. Your enthusiasm and craftsmanship will contribute to creating inviting, aesthetically pleasing environments across various projects. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills while working in a fast-paced construction or renovation setting.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail.
Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding to complete projects efficiently.
Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver results that exceed expectations.
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly.
Follow safety protocols at all times, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Experience

Proven experience in construction painting or decorating roles, demonstrating a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Knowledge of different painting techniques, surface preparation methods, and decorating styles.
Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members and clients to ensure clear understanding of project scopes.
Valid driving license with reliable driving skills to navigate between multiple job sites efficiently.
Strong communication skills for coordinating tasks with colleagues and providing excellent customer service.
Familiarity with safety standards related to painting and decorating work environments.
CIS Registered (Construction Industry Scheme)
Own transport and tools required.
