Here at GXO, we’re looking for a driven Operations Manager to join our multi-user site in Selby. You’ll lead warehouse operations across e-commerce, retail, wholesale, and returns. You’ll play a critical role in delivering operational excellence, managing performance, and ensuring outstanding customer service – all within a highly automated, fast-moving environment.
This is a full-time, permanent position. You will work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £56,000 per annum depending on experience and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead and manage end-to-end warehouse operations, ensuring KPI, SLA, and budget targets are achieved
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities
- Build, coach, and develop a team of Shift Managers and wider operational colleagues
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and operational standards
- Manage customer relationships, performance reviews, and service delivery excellence
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven experience in warehouse or logistics operations management within a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Excellent analytical and financial management capabilities, including budgets and KPIs
- Confident communicator with experience managing internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to drive change, manage priorities, and deliver results under pressure
