The Role
The Marketplace Admin Assistant will support the day-to-day operations of Lyle & Scott’s global marketplace business. Working closely with the wider Marketplace team, this role is responsible for ensuring product data accuracy, smooth trading operations, and efficient coordination across internal and external partners. This role will own the processes for (but not limited to): stock order processing, product detail enrichment, data mapping corrections, basic data set ups across partner dashboards, product and order reconciliations & imagery set up/processing.
This is an ideal role for someone highly organised, detail-oriented, enjoys data analysis/input and looking to build a career in e-commerce within a fast-paced fashion environment.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Operations Support
- Assist in the day-to-day management of marketplace accounts (e.g. product uploads, updates, and checks).
- Support the setup and maintenance of product listings across multiple platforms.
- Ensure product data accuracy, including pricing, descriptions, imagery, and attributes.
- Monitor product status and flag any errors or issues affecting live listings.
Trading & Performance Support
- Support weekly and daily trading reporting by compiling performance data.
- Assist in tracking key KPIs such as sales, conversion, and stock levels.
- Help maintain trading calendars, including promotions and seasonal launches.
- Provide administrative support for trading meetings and performance reviews.
Stock & Catalogue Management
- Coordinate stock uploads and availability across marketplace channels.
- Assist in managing product feeds and catalogue updates via middleware systems.
- Work with merchandising and operations teams to ensure accurate stock flow.
Operational & Technical Support
- Help identify and troubleshoot data or integration issues.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to resolve operational queries.
- Support system updates, product mapping, and platform requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with merchandising, marketing and operations teams to support marketplace activity. Develop relationships with external partners such as Tradebyte & Marketplace accounts.
- Assist in aligning product launches and campaigns across platforms.
About You
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. You will be the custodian of the marketplace data and its input into various systems accurately.
- Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and systems (Excel proficiency required).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in an admin related role.
- Experience/knowledge of product data systems or middleware tools (e.g. Tradebyte).
