Key Responsibilities
- Prepare applications for payment in line with contract requirements using project ledgers
- Support and attend internal and external project cost reviews
- Assist in producing the monthly Cost Value Reconciliation (profit & loss)
- Maintain and update project cost ledgers
- Develop and maintain revenue forecasts
- Perform trend and variance analysis to identify risks and opportunities
- Produce accurate and timely reports to support decision-making
Skills & Experience
We are looking for candidates with experience or exposure to:
Project financials, including: Profit & loss
Cost journaling
Cost and revenue accruals
Revenue forecasting
You should also:
- Be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Have experience with ERP systems (desirable but not essential)
- Can gain baseline security clearance (BPSS)
You’ll possess well developed communications skills, an eye for detail, a positive can-do attitude and have a desire to improve the way we work.
Qualifications:
- Working towards a Degree in relevant subject area or equivalent experience in a technical qualification
Experience:
- 3 years within a similar role in a highly regulated environment, ideally within the nuclear industry (not essential)
