We're looking for an exceptional hospitality leader to become our next House Ambassador.

About the role
This is a hands-on leadership role.
You'll lead our hotel, restaurant, bar and festival garden, creating memorable guest experiences while building a positive culture for your team. You'll be just as comfortable welcoming guests and leading service as you are developing managers, reviewing performance or helping shape the future of the business.
Working closely with our central team in Bristol, you'll lead with confidence, take ownership of your hotel and be supported to develop your team, continually improve the guest experience and help shape the future of Artist Residence.
What you'll be doing
- Leading and inspiring your team through visible, hands-on leadership.
- Creating exceptional guest experiences every single day.
- Leading service and spending time on the floor with both guests and your team.
- Building a positive, supportive culture where people enjoy coming to work.
- Coaching and developing your management team.
- Driving commercial performance through thoughtful decision-making and cost control.
- Working closely with our Head Chef to continually evolve the guest experience.
- Building strong relationships within the local community.
- Monitoring guest feedback and continually improving standards across the hotel.
- Working collaboratively with our Operations, Marketing, Finance and Reservations teams.
About you
You might already be a General Manager, or perhaps you're an experienced Restaurant Manager, Hotel Manager, Operations Manager or Deputy General Manager who's ready to take the next step.
Whatever your current title, what matters most is the leader you are.
We're looking for someone who genuinely loves hospitality.
Someone who enjoys building relationships with guests, takes pride in the little things and naturally creates a positive atmosphere wherever they go.
You'll be highly organised, calm under pressure and happiest when you're out on the floor supporting your team and leading by example.
You'll bring positive energy, inspire confidence and create an environment where guests feel genuinely welcome, your team enjoys coming to work and the local community feels proud to have you as part of it.
We're less interested in how many General Manager roles you've held and more interested in the leader you are. If you bring warmth, curiosity, commercial awareness and a genuine passion for hospitality, we'd love to hear from you.
