Junior Physiotherapist (Sport Therapist)

c. £30,000 to £35,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience).

Full-time (35+ hours per week, including both home and away match days).

Permanent.

We are looking for a suitably qualified Physiotherapist (Sport Therapist) to join our First Team Medical and Performance department, to provide physiotherapy and/or sport therapy to First Team players and staff. Working closely with medical staff and players in our elite sport environment, the post holder will play a key role in designing and implementing massage therapy services that promote preparatory and recovery benefits to the First Team playing squad for training and match play. The post holder will also provide pitch side emergency first aid cover for first team training activity

The successful candidate will be required to support both home and away fixtures and provide pitch side emergency first aid cover for First Team training activity.

Candidates must hold a Level 4 Sports Massage qualification, or equivalent, and be a member of a professional association for Physiotherapists or Soft Tissue Therapists (e.g., HCPC, General Council for Soft Tissue Therapists). A degree or equivalent in Sports Therapy, Sports Rehabilitation, or other relevant discipline would also be advantageous. Candidates must also hold a valid Level 4 Intermediate Trauma Medical Management in Football Certificate and be able to lead on first aid cover.

This role requires flexibility and a willingness to work non-standard hours in accordance with the needs of the Club and the fixture schedule. If you have the specified qualifications and personal attributes and are passionate about making a difference through sport, have excellent communication and organisational skills and can form positive relationships with others to maximise their potential, we would love to hear from you.
