Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Supervisor to oversee morning operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food service, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. This role involves supervising breakfast service, managing team members, and ensuring smooth kitchen and dining room operations to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

Supervise the preparation and presentation of breakfast dishes, ensuring quality and consistency in food production.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food safety compliance, cleanliness, and organisation.
Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff and servers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient service.
Coordinate with the culinary team to plan menus, manage inventory, and ensure timely delivery of breakfast offerings.
Monitor service standards, address guest concerns promptly, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
Train new team members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations.
Maintain health and safety regulations in accordance with industry standards and hotel policies.
Assist in scheduling staff shifts to optimise coverage during breakfast hours.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant or hotel environment.
Supervising experience with strong team management capabilities.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong leadership qualities with a focus on motivating staff and fostering teamwork.
Hospitality experience with excellent customer service skills.
Familiarity with restaurant operations, serving procedures, and kitchen management.
Previous experience as a barista or in hospitality roles such as hotel or restaurant staff is advantageous.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
