Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Lettings Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for property management, ensuring the smooth operation of our lettings department. This role requires an individual who is organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while providing exceptional service to clients and tenants alike.

The company is growing and also operates within block management and the management of HMO's . The roll would require some work in these areas as well.

Duties

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the lettings department, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
Identify new opportunities
Manage the lettings process from start to finish, including property viewings, tenant applications, and lease agreements.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and other stakeholders to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Conduct regular market research to stay informed about local rental trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
Prepare marketing materials for available properties, utilising various platforms to attract potential tenants.
Supervise and mentor lettings staff, providing training and support to enhance their performance.
Handle tenant queries and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring effective resolution.
Maintain accurate records of all lettings transactions and ensure proper documentation is completed.

Qualifications

Proven experience in property management or a similar role within the lettings sector is preferred.
Strong administrative skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in documentation.
Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication skills; multilingual capabilities are advantageous for engaging with diverse clients.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Familiarity with relevant housing laws and regulations is beneficial but not essential.
